A router with over 40 supported device types
The Oxtopus router range offers great modularity with over 40 device references available. Its built-in multi-protocol capabilities and numerous features, such as the scheduler, make it a compact and energy-efficient solution.
To address the security challenges of building management systems, Oxtopus now supports 802.1x authentication, ensuring that only trusted and verified devices can access the network, thus preventing unauthorized intrusions.
An open and interoperable router, supporting only standardized protocols to eliminate the need for gateways and create a unified network accessible by the Building Management System (BMS).
The four slots supporting wired Lon, IzoT™, Modbus RTU, and BACnet™ MS/TP networks provide great flexibility for all your BMS projects.

Diagnostics and Statistics: Tools to Monitor Your Network
Statistics for each GTB protocol are accessible via a Modbus/IP server, allowing easy consultation by the supervision system. They can be viewed during commissioning and maintenance through the router’s web pages.
Each wired network is continuously monitored to detect potential disconnections through impedance measurement. Any fault is indicated by a green or red “Z” LED on the front panel. Each protocol has its own statistics to refine commissioning and maintenance diagnostics.
Scheduled programs
To enable precise control of technical installations, the Oxtopus routers optionally feature 10 time schedules covering over 90% of typical needs. Time slots and exception days can be configured via BACnet. For BACnet controllers and supervision systems, it is also possible to use a time schedule as a master control command by forcing the MSO value.

Oxtopus IzoT™ Router
The IzoT™, the latest evolution of the Lon protocol, is fully compatible with all existing Lon installations, enabling access to new products with native IP support. The implementation of BACnet™/IP in IzoT™ controllers offers the best of both worlds: Lon for its powerful device-to-device interaction capabilities (bindings), and BACnet™ for its simplicity in supervision—without any need for gateways—thus significantly reducing engineering complexity.
Eco-design with IzoT™ Technology
Future-proof your Lon installations with the new generation of IzoT™ products, fully compatible and sharing the same twisted pair wiring. Lon commissioning tools remain reusable with the new generation of controllers. Supervision can be performed interchangeably via Lon or BACnet™/IP without any gateway.
The Oxtopus IzoT™ is now the most energy-efficient and sustainable solution for both new construction and renovation projects—not only for buildings but also for any other IoT applications.
